Thank you for your interest in working at Prominence Charter School.  As a "work-in-progress," we do not have any current "professional" job openings.  Once we have earned our charter, our Human Resources team will update this page with any openings.

We are currently soliciting proposals from local community artists.  The Prominence Charter School student experience includes a Friday afternoon of community arts programming.  We are seeking community members who would be interested in mentoring students on Friday afternoons in a variety of capacities such as visual arts, performing arts, music, crafts, trades,  design, and other creative outlets not otherwise defined.  While Prominence anticipates opening for the 2019-2020 school year, we hope to include a sample of community arts program offerings with our application revision.

Mentors would be responsible for creating and teaching a semester long (half a school year) course and producing a syllabus that includes weekly summaries and learning objectives.  They must be able to manage the behaviors of a group of children.  Mentors must also be able to obtain required clearances and pass a background check at their own expense, but will be awarded a stipend for their services.  Motivated individuals who prefer to mentor for a whole school year will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Interested mentors should fill out the link below:

NOTICE:  Founding members of our charter may be granted "priority employment" should our charter be approved.  These founding members will have gone above and beyond in their efforts to support the successful opening of our school by volunteering their personal time, expertise, and energy.  If you see a future for yourself at Prominence and would like to go above and beyond, please contact to make arrangements to discuss your skills and career aspirations.
